The David R. Kingsley (DRK) Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in 1999 in remembrance of David R. Kingsley, a WWII hero from Oregon. This foundation was created to assist both military members of Kingsley Field and Klamath County who have fallen on hard times due to a myriad of circumstances. The DRK is a 501c.3 organization, which allows the foundation to provide maximum assistance to OR Air National Guard and community members who find themselves struggling to pay for rent/mortgage, utility bills, food insecurities, medical expenses, and other short-term assistance needs.

The Board is comprised of mostly full-time volunteer members from Kingsley Field. And the DRK Foundation is most well-known by local church groups, public service agencies, and rental agencies who refer those in need.
 
The DRK Foundation prides itself in its mission to provide short-term assistance to many military families and individuals within Klamath County.
